Holy Rusted Analytics Dark Knight.

Ok,
So this has been a week of education for me. First, over the weekend I learned how awesome The Joker can be. The Dark Knight was absolutely phenomenal. I was astounded by the depth that Christopher Nolan was able to take the characters all-the-while retaining the originality of the comic book characters. Simply fabulous.

Next, I learned to have Amazon’s S3 service host my images if my blog article is going to be listed on the following sites:

Apparently I’m not the only one with an interest in other people’s offices! According to Google Analytics I received close to 4,000 unique hits last week, including Wednesday where my server took a beating (but never went down btw) with close to 2,500 hits! Thanks to everyone who visited my site and a special thanks to everyone who left comments. It’s always nice to hear some feedback.

15 Of My Favorite Office Designs.

One of the things I’m always interested in is what other peoples’ offices look like. Whether it be a home-office or a corporate cube farm, it’s all interesting to me.

Some of the things that make me jealous are:

  • A mac-centric office. I love me some Apple goodness.
  • Open communication offices. This is catch-22, as some people like their privacy, but strictly speaking in my industry I’m always conversing with my co-workers about different ways to tackle new ideas. It would be a blessing to be able to just poke your head around your monitor and chat.
  • Vibrant colors. We actually do have some very nice colors in our office, but at the same time with our 5-foot tall cubicle walls, I never get to see them.
  • Urban Cities. Oh how I wish my office was somewhere else. Where for lunch, I could hop outside and hit up a cool deli or see people actually walking around.
  • A work environment that inspires creativity. Whether it be the scenery through a window, or just the collaboration that is involved. Creativity is good :).

I’m sure there are others that belong on that list, but for some examples please click the full-post to see pictures of my favorite offices (in no order).
